In a sea of imitators, it’s always nice to find a true innovator. With Runespell: Overture, Mystic Box gives us a familiar fantasy blanket covering a truly new and engaging game mechanic that most anyone will be able to enjoy. And this being the developer’s introductory release, it’s probably safe to say that they’ll be sticking around for a bit if they so desire.

Changes:
- Fixed: "Steal stack" AI issue: sometimes the AI would give an attack hand to the player. No more gifts from the AI!
- Fixed: Achievements unlocked in the demo are carried over to full version on Steam. One battle and a save in the full version is needed to activate the sync
- Fixed: Gathering the magic achievement now shows progress in Steam client
- Fixed: Runespell XL now with progress bar to show the number of unique battles needed to unlock achievement
- Fixed: Resolutions should not reset to a low resolution when going from window mode to fullscreen anymore
- Fixed: Corrected some texts in the game tutorial

Runespell: Overture is a role-playing game combining poker mechanics with power ups and collectable cards. The world is set in an alternate medieval Europe linking historical characters with Norse mythology and sagas. The player takes on the role of the Changeling, the son of a monster god, in search of his nemesis.
